How counselling works and how counselling might help
I suggest that we arrange a first session so that we can meet and discuss what brings you to Counselling at this time. The first session is also an opportunity for us both/all to see if we feel we can work together.
I have an integrative approach to Counselling. I trained as a Humanistic, Gestalt counsellor and have continued my professional development integrating Psychodynamic elements. I am interactive in that I share my thoughts within the Counselling session.
I am currently in training as a family systemic therapist at Great Ormond Street Hospital In London. This training is key to the relationship counselling I offer.
I am a MAHPP and UKCP accredited counsellor and am located in central Brighton, a couple of minutes walk from Brighton station. Counselling sessions last 50 minutes and are on a regular weekly basis, normally on the same day at the same time.
I charge £50 for a one to one for a 50 minute counselling session and £65 for a 50 minute couples counselling session.
I receive regular supervision in order to support my practice and discuss my work. All sessions are confidential apart from issues relating to safety. I am committed to my CPD and regularly attend workshops, conferences and seminars to support my growth and interest.
